Human T-cell lymphotropic/leukemia virus - (HTLV) types 1 and 2

S0042 - Qualitative detection of HTLV type 2 by polymerase chain reaction
P0005 - Ultrasensitive qualitative screen for primate T-cell leukemia/lymphotropic viruses (STLV and HTLV) by real time polymerase chain reaction.  This assay detects but does not differentiate common STLV and HTLV strains.

Specimen requirement: 0.5 ml whole blood in EDTA (purple top) or ACD (yellow top) tube.
